chrisgunton
After giving the car it's first good clean since I bought it (4hrs! snowfoam, wash, dry, clay, demon shine) I really noticed the stone chips on the front, and a couple of small chips elsewhere on the body work. What is the best solution - preferably easily DIY - that I can do to fix these? The front it looking very peppered It's gunmetal grey if that makes any difference. Is it possible to get a clear wrap for the bonnet and bumper once they are all cleaned up?
Leeroy
Chris, you could try this stuff : http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp? ... ame=Langka Chip Repair (2 oz) Basically you fill the chip with touch up paint and use this stuff to flatten the paint blob before it hardens, I can't remember how long for. Then apply lacquer (or langka supply a sealant if you want it) to seal. I'm keen to try this on the Zed, I've seen good results on an Impreza on a forum some where but can't find the link now....
