coldel
Not a fan of the silver plastic door handles...so thought why not make them black like the car. Had a quick google search on this and lots of people considered painting them but referenced the 'wear' ultimately taking the shine off it. So I thought, what about wrapping them? Is that possible? Anyone tried?

Ricey
You never know he might be able to do it on an exchange basis through the post. Assume you mean the interior door handles?
veilside z
mine are colourcoded the same colour as the car and if they are prepared properly should last as long as the bodywork..

I think he must mean interior handles mate - the exterior are metal not plastic ain't they?
coldel
Sorry I did mean exterior, are they plastic, I'm not sure I didn't check ...
GT4 Zed
That was among the first mods i did on mine as i felt the silver plastic looked cheap and i,ve had no issues since after almost 3yrs now. Black looks ace on a kuro though not sure about other colors but i would be inclined to paint it same as the respective body color
coldel
You got any photos? You had it painted?
Blacky
They are not plastic but metal. So any decent body shop could paint them any colour you like. If done properly they should last as well as original silver paint.
MattG
Had mine done gloss black with the rest of the respray and they've been fine for over a year. Repainting the handles in any colour makes them look 100% better as the finish on the stock ones isn't especially good. Once you get something glossy on them they really look the part. rtbiscuit
we spoke via PM but as i said before i think paint is possibly the best way, a decent job should be hard wearing and last well
coldel
Yep cheers for that mate, will go with the paint job I think...
ewan221
There is a carbon fibre kit for the handles, no idea though on how good it looks once stuck on
coldel
I had carbon fiber on my previous car, wrapping the front grille and rear boot strip, liked it at first but then came to dislike it quite a lot! So might stick to colour coding it....
