Eraserhead
hi, need a bit of help with this one, driving the car today and could smell oil burning from inside the car popped the bonnet and it seems the exhaust manifold on the n/s front is getting wet with oil just under the dipstick, the rocker cover seems ok, oil dipstick ok im just hoping its not the headgasket weeping oil, the car is not overheating and no oil discolour etc anyone had the same problem thanks in advance for any help pete
GT4 Zed
Its not unheard of that oil can spill out of the dipstick and a few have got this problem here in the past. Get a new stick and it is problem solved as it is likely that the fit is slack.
ZMANALEX
As GT4 Zed has said, it may be the dipstick loose in the hole or perhaps not pushed fully home, however I suspect it will be your cam cover gasket. New dipsticks and new cam cover gaskets in stock and good to go same/next day Alex
