UNABASHED
Quick question chaps, if I took my car to garage to fit springs should it take more than an hours labour?
ZMANALEX
2 hours labour to swop out the 4 springs. The rears only take minutes, only one bolt and nut to remove Alex.

Wasso
So how would you remove the springs without compressing them, surely they don't just flop out?
ZMANALEX
So how would you remove the springs without compressing them, surely they don't just flop out? For want of a better word, yes they do. The oem fronts have a little bit of tension, however no clamps required. The rears just drop out when you partially lower the spring carrier. Alex. Wasso
I'm surprised. I'd have thought it would be more technical than that? So it's a very simple job? Are there any guides on this?
Husky
really, when i did mine they weren't so keen on flopping out ah well, spring compressors made light work anyway, next time will give it a go without and see how that goes. if it can be done without then all the better.
