chrisgunton
Howdy, I'm hoping this isn't going to be a massively expensive problem... When the car is cold, first thing in the morning, it makes a low rubbing or groaning noise when I put my foot on the clutch to put it into 1st. At first it only did it once the car was in gear and I was balancing the clutch to pull away for about 3 seconds. Lately it's been doing it with just my foot on the clutch but still for just a few seconds then it's fine. It also is a bit bad going into 5th down from 6th - I have to do it slowly. Suggestions? I have a feeling that this, plus new pads and discs, is going to add up to an expensive month. It's an 04, with 40k on it. Nissan gave it a clean bill of health when I took it in for a health check with the exception of the brakes.
Cookbot
My clutch makes a creak when depressed and crunches if moved from 5th to 6th quickly. It's done it for about 15k miles now and hasn't got any worse.
