cerealuk
w00t! I won my personalised plate at auction today Originally I had seen it advertised on the nationalnumbers site so called them for a a price and was told they were going to try and buy it at auction in a couple of weeks and for £1850 + vat + fees they would try and get hold of it for me (they would obviously refund me if they couldnt get it). i decided to do some digging and found that it was being auctioned by the DVLA today with a reserve price of £350. I registered with the auction site and awaited the auction day... Long story short I got it for £850 so saved well over £1000 by going it alone instead of using nationalnumbers! What is the plate, I hear you ask ?

cerealuk
lol, good plate. No dodgy spacing or messing about required Aye, there is meant to be a space between the first and second group of 3 letters, but I think I will just pop it on with no spaces and see what happens. If I get pulled over I'll put my hands up and apologise and put the space back in and use it with proper spacing in future
Stew
Well done! Some of these reg number companies are total crooks. It's a business but I can't understand why prices go up and up and up when the plates aren't being sold????
