Bullet
Ive bought a set of 19" wheels (8.5 front, 9.5 rear) and now i need tyres. most people seem to be using 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 but after using a tyre size calculator http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html it seems that 255/35/19 would be much better suited or am i missing something ? JetSet
Yeah, I used a different calculator and it showed 255/35/19.. 1mm difference....245/35/19..6mm difference, you would seem to be right. Pete
marzman
I personally think 255 on the front is too wide... it affects the handling.
drmac
go for245/40 19 as being used by nissan on jdm models they should more of a match for the 275/35.i ws using 245/35 fr and 275/35 19s on my fairlady.the ride was harsh and lots of understeer.i have now gone back to 18s and getting a better ride and drive for it.
