paulie
After a recent MOT I was told I would need to look at replacing the rear tyres in the near future. I have ordered some replacements which will be here soon. There is 4mil left on the front and 2.5 mil on the rear. My question is would the RE01r's still be useful for occasional track use ? (not for me but a fellow member I plan to donate them too !) Or is it safer to bin them all together?
Ekona
They'd be fine, and perfect to kill off on a TD
Chris`I
Yup, I took my Falkens to a airfield day with Car Limits and they didnt drop a mil over the whole day. They were barely legal when I went and just about legal when I got home. If you're not sliding all over the place, its supprising how little rubber you will loose. Its usually the likes of Evo and Scooby owners not driving properly that waste their tyres
