HassanZ
Hi everyone, I've just been offered a remap for £120 at work and considering whether I should go ahead with it! My car is completely standard apart from the Toyosport cat back exhaust I fitted on a few weeks ago. I just wanted to know if it's worth me carrying out a remap, as I've heard UK 350z's don't gain much from them due to the engine being N/A. All input and advice is appreciated! Many Thanks, Hassan

HassanZ
Only two places in the UK re map 350s. at £400 +Abbey and RS So basically you don't advise me to get it done by a mobile remapper? The guy is apparantly very good and is well known (forgot the company name!). He says he takes out the ECU and loads the map onto it, he's done a 350z before. It's not the normal price he is charging me, normally charges a lot more. Do I stay clear of mobile remappers for 350z's? Thanks, Hassan

DoogyRev
I would stay clear personally. If your unsure speak to the below about the process, I am sure they will give you the best advice on what an uprev entails Abbey, RS and Horsham (when they start doing them) are the only ones I would go to

When did Horsham Dev start doing them? Who's had it done? Interested as they are a nice run from me.
glrnet
How will he achieve optimum gains without a dyno session?

I think Horsham will be doing them soon, they are just up the road from me to, so will be keeping an eye out for when they start

Walk away if you value your car and the waste of money in getting him orund

Sound advice, but remember to have all your engine mods completed before a remap if you fancy it later.
rothers2901
I had a remap done at home for my Astra GSI Turbo (quoted between 20/35 Hp) increase, Once done took it to JBS Tuning in Chesterfield, put it on their rolling road got a print out off the HP, Yes you guessed it nothing, nada, no gains what so ever. Go them back (& my money), put the original map back on and went to Courtnay tuning specialists and got it done right. My advise stick with the specialists. RS/Abbey.
