Peter10
I have searched everywhere and can't find a guide showing how to do the Bose stereo mod to get an iPod working through the tape deck via some clever soldering. The only guide I came across was from the US 350z forum from a post about 6 years old, of which is pretty useless as all the pictures are gone. (http://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video ... guide.html). I looked though the 7 pages of guides on this forum but can't find one. If it matters, a lot of the final result pictures I have seen are from 2003-2006 cars whereas mines a 57, not sure if that matters, but I don't want to rip out the interior to find it isn't doable . If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. PS a new head unit isn't an option . Pete

Peter10
Stupid iPhone. I literally spent from 7pm to 9pm looking for this so I don't waste peoples time starting a new thread . Thanks again guys. Very good guide just one question: How do I know which wire gets soldered where?
HaydnH
They're labelled! R-ch = Right Channel L-ch = Left Channel the 3 lines+GND = Ground In the cable the wires are usually coloured red and white for the left and right channels. Your cable may also have 4 wires, 2 of these will be ground.
lrh
How do I know which wire gets soldered where? Your cable may have 2 ground wires that you need to join and solder to GND.
