To restore your phone to normal plug into itunes and restore or reset settings on phone Its as easy as peas !!!! would this method screw the warrenty? Any tampering with the phone in a way that alters it's original state as it was supplied will void the warranty, this includes unlocking via jailbreak (which is what greenp0ison does)
player2301
i have returned my iphones under warrenty several times .. If i have problems i resyore the phone before i take it back its simplae It is also not illegal to jailbreak your phone now geohot won the lawsuit against apple. !!!! honestly you cant go wrong mate
BulletMagnet
Don't get me wrong, I have been jailbreaking myself since the original 2G iPhone. The OP asked whether the unlock would screw his warranty and I answered the question
player2301
Yeah no probs bullet But theres not much that can go wrong but like you said if you turn up to the store with anything to do with jailbreak its a big no no.. Thats why i always restored mine before returning it for warrenty replacement
BulletMagnet
I did some reading though in regards to the lawsuit that Apple filed against George Hotz (geohot) and found that although the judge ruled in favour of geohot, this ruling was passed under US law and it does not apply to the laws in the UK. Apple are still protected under the copyright infringement act of 1988, although it has been also mentioned that a judge would probably be in favour of the individual that had jailbroken their phone, even if such a precedent has not been set yet within the UK

un1eash
No they will unlock it for you to all networks, they did this for free once the iphone came available on all networks, you could take your O2 iphone and get it unlocked.

BulletMagnet
just spoke to apple and they were about as much use as an ejector seat in a helicopter On a side note, military helicopters do have ejector seats, it fires the rotor blades outwards and then fires the ejector seat upwards (according to 007 Goldeneye anyways, lol)
