yankeesiter
Got some new Iridiums from Zmanalex. Is 16mm the correct socket size?
ZMANALEX
5/8" is what you require.
terribleone
Get a proper plug socket...they have a little rubber grommet in the end which grips the plug until it's tightened in place. I had loads kicking about from all the cheap tool sets I used to get through.
yankeesiter
I was changing my spark plugs this afternoon with one of those sockets with a rubber insert to grip the plugs. After tighting up the 3rd plug I pulled the the socket out but the rubber insert stuck on the plug deep inside the cylinder head. Now I can't get a socket back on to remove the plug and I can't fit the coil pack thingy on! Does anybody have any ideas on how to remove the rubber?? Have decided to go for a magnetic one when I can, after reading this.

Beavis
You could try a lenth of wire (coat hangar) with a hook at the bottom to try and get it off. I spray a bit of silicon on my rubber to help it not getting stuck
