Leenx
Guys I've been after a second hand set of these for ages. He mentions the following: "There are short pieces of brake line attached to both the rear calipers, however the pipe on the rear right caliper is damaged" Taking this into account how much do you think these are worth? and how much would it cost est to get the damage done? Cheers
Baptist
You could get a complete set with discs for about £800-900 that arent damaged. Unless you can get them very cheap I wouldnt bother, as they need repainting, discs and repairs to whatever damage on the brake lines. Leenx
Would they be Brembos? Also I don't really put the Zed to it's limits at the best of time so would it really be worth shelling out that £900? or stick with my factory ones on my JDM which seems pretty responsive anyway? Baptist
Well, i sold my brembo's (only 15months only) with pads discs and front and rear calipers, for about 950 all in all. If your not bothered about more braking power, then no, not much point.
Leenx
Ok thanks for the info! Still think an aftermarket exhaust comes top of my list!
Baptist
The Brembo's would only be much use if you do drive the car harder and are finding your current setup isnt doing the business for you. They do of course, look nicer. A nice exhaust sounds like it would be the best crimbo pressie for yourself! Nismo is pretty unbeatable for sound. Leenx
Crimbo -I'll be lucky! Got too many house projects on the go! Would love one of those Nismo exhausts - how much could I pick one up for on say Ebay? Cheers
Baptist
Probably be cheaper to get one from Leeauto in America. Budget about 800-850 for the system including VAT, shipping/customs and all that pish.
Leenx
Thought that pension might come in handy 30 years early!
Leenx
Going to get this company to email me a some photos of spare parts from the Zed they are scrapping. And post on here if this helps? Just don't enquire about passenger ball joint - it's mine!!
