Sarnie
Ok, if you want to split hairs, when you read it, i say the black rear lights look chav and dont belong on a zed, you then come back and say 'and a nismo kit does' to me that puts it in the same context as what im saying about the lights. Nope, it was a question to you, then I cited a Latin way of saying that you must have not known/understood that meant "do not dispute other people's tastes", or "each to their own" . What you should have read into it was, in your opinion blacked out lights make a Z chav, while a Nismo kit doesn't (as you have it on your car). In other people's eyes, a Nismo kit can look as chav, if not worse. hence my "each to their own" comment (which you didn't grasp) Also, how can it not belong on a zed, it was designed by Nissan for it! Actually, it was designed for a Gran Turismo series (PS2 game) and Nissan liked it and decided to produce it. You were just being awkward, because I said the lights looked chav, and the fact that your now bidding on a bumper that you dont think belongs on the zed (whether that is because it is chav or not), backs that up! again, apart from the fact that I am not bidding on anything, you got it all wrong, for the above reasons i just mentioned. My mentioning a nismo kit in the previous thread only was to make you realise that what you like (or choose to do) might not be to other people's likings, and they might even see it as chav. Aye, whatever you say, chief!
Rob_Quads
People keep going on about paint quality ,it's a load of bull.. Measure how thick 350z paint and compare it to other similar cars and you will find there is a significant amount of paint not there on the 350zs i.e. 20/30%+

I see this phenomenon a lot on motorcycles, some are plastered with chip while others are mint ,all down to the style of driving, what roads are being used regularly and if the rider has been in fast company I think on the Zeds if you use the motorways regularly chips are going to be a way of life
Rob_Quads
I am not saying they will not chip but the effict IMO will be much less on properly painted cars. Its proven that there is less paint on the Zs than most other cars
Baptist
Funny thing is, the paint on my first zeds bumper didnt last 5 minutes, on this car, the original bumper has about 1 chip on after 15 months driving. Weirdness.
ir_fuel
This is again something which appears on all forums. Everyone complains that there is "less", or "lower quality" paint on his brand of cars than on others. I think its just a common problem of all cars

M13KYF
is that what you've got coming from performance parts
Removed
lol nono a bonnet is not performance, although it'll be way lighter than the oem one Not sure when I'm gonna have the money to get it sprayed though, as the bumper will need paintshielding too. Might ask Lomoto to spray the lot!
