dvs
Hello I'm 3 days into ownership and steadily growing a list of things love and not-so-love about my 2007 313 Coupe. One big point I was missing from my previous bimmer was a lack of iPod integration - so I was pleased to read online that after 2006 the bose sound system is able to read mp3s from CDs, thus expanding my per-disc song count from about 12 to ~110+ Now before I start consuming the worlds CDR stockpiles, does anyone have any advice on how to best organise the songs to have sensible playback options? ie does the head unit recognise folders (if so, how do you skip/select between folders), or does it just scan for all files and cue them up in one big playlist? Any help appreciated Cheers, Dave
BulletMagnet
Alternatively, you could do a tape deck hack and add an iPod cable to the Bose headunit
sparky370z
i didnt think that any of the bose units had this facility. no matter what the year.
dvs
BulletMagnet - is there a hack to provide an auxiliary input? (that isn't using a cassette adapter ) sparky350z - http://www.answerbag.co.uk/q_view/2281753 - it's not official or backed up by anything but surely people don't write lies for no reason. Not on the internet of all places, one of the most trusted mediums of the day!

lilwashu
I have a 57 plate 313 Roadster and it doesn't play MP3 from CDs, so I'll be doing the aux in mod soon.
