oliver789
Hi, Just wondered how easy it is to change panels on a 350z, are they bolted on or welded (front wing and rear quarter panel)? and also are replacements easy to come by, oh and the price of a new one? Cheers
rtbiscuit
i believe the fronts are bolted but have a feeling the rear is welded
oliver789
oh i see, so the front should be easy enough to change? With the rear panel, would I have to get a professional to un-weld and re-weld on a new panel? I don't suppose anyone would know roughly how much that would be? Sorry for all the questions, just I am not very cluded up and you guys are the experts
rtbiscuit
:pmr35lee: he sells zed parts from salvaged cars, so he'll give a definitive answer on whats welded and whats not. as for price, best to speak to a local bodyshop. prices vary so much from shop to shop. if i was to guess, for a straight forward removal and reweld i'm guessing about 4 hours labour so possibly about 120 quid. but if its an arse of a job the price quickly goes up. depends on how much of the car you have to dismantle to get to it.
