Leeroy
I need a couple of new bushes on the front (need to check the car, pretty sure it's the usual compression arm bushes) and am thinking of replacing all suspension bushes front and rear as the car's done 65K. I'll be getting them off the usual suspects on here, defo Alex' new press in banana arm bush. The easiest option is to use my trusted local garage, does anyone foresee any issues with a non Zed specialist doing it? I mean they're pretty standard items aren't they? Ekona
Correct. Any competent garage will be fine
Leeroy
Thanks for the peace of mind Ekona. Looking forward to feeling the difference
Leeroy
When I change the banana arm bushes is it recommended to change any other front bushes at the same time? I'm assuming the only shot bushes are the banana arm ones that I know about, but is there anything to gain by doing others while the suspension's partly in bits anyway? If so which ones should I be looking at doing?

M13KYF
viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43456 if changing the whole banana bar its recommended viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43458
Leeroy
I'm hoping i don't need the whole bar, but thanks for the heads up on the cones in case I do Mike I'll get the garage to check all bushes when they fit the new banana arm bush. Leeroy
A bit of an update, I finally got a chance to get the wheels off the car yesterday to inspect the bushes (ooh err missus!) and it's actually the bush on the transverse link where the suspension strut mounts to it that's split. It doesn't look any worse than it did for the MOT a few weeks ago but I want to change it soon. Can anyone recommend a bush for this instead of a stock one? I don't want a harder ride though Also, any ideas on a ball park garage cost for this? Cheers
Leeroy
Bit of a bump, I'm thinking about getting these transverse link bushes fitted soon, before geometry alignment. The suspension isn't knocking and feels fine - it was a minor advisory on the last MOT. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket bush which gives beter handling with little ride compromise? Jez @ H-Dev
I'd recommend SuperPro bushes - we did all the bushes on our 350Z recently and the difference was amazing. Give us a call or drop me a PM for prices and details
Wasso
GO SUPERPRO!!! I fitted the ARB bushes at the weekend and noticeably even in the wet an improvement, just gives you a little more stability. Also to fit are the SuperPro lower compression bushes which will fitted on Friday. The quality difference from oem speaks volumes. They maybe expensive for what they are, but if they last and improve handling you can't go wrong
