jimgallaher
Had a couple of days off last week, so after a sudden rush of blood to the head I decided to wash the baby I then remembered I had bought some poorboys blackhole and some glaze cant remember the name at the moment. So 4 hours later after wash, chammy, polish, glaze and 2 coats of supernatural the baby looked awesome. Then she who must be obeyed came home and said it was obscenely shiny And I was insane to have spent 4 hours doing it !!! Luckily my arms were like jelly (I did it all by hand ) You sometimes wonder what goes on inside their little minds Anyway after going out for a nice long drive in the shiny obscenity, I did come round to her way of thinking as it was covered in a fine coat of salt, sore arms and 4 hours of toil all for naught
BladesGrant
Only 4 hours, you haven't done it right if you have only spent 4 hours!!
Neilp
When you come to washing it again the salt will fall off very easily. I spent 13hours doing mines lol

Will370z
On the plus side it's quite a workout so you don't need to take a trip to the gym
jimgallaher
yeah same thought crossed my mind, about the gym I mean. I did clay bar and polished with my new orbital polishing gizmo, so the finish wasn't too bad, I coulda spent longer buffing polish etc but I'm old and I didnt want the baby to be too obscene

jimgallaher
for future reference and to save my poor old arms, can anyone recommend which polishing/buffing pads to use with my Kestrel DA ? I dont want to mess my paint up with something too abrasive.
