Bazza1
Hi, the spacesaver on my car will not go over the Bembro brakes. The holes line up, I have been offered an 300zx space saver, will this fit? does anybody have one for sale otherwise. thanks Bazza
Goldcrest Four
Forgive me if this is a silly question: but are you lining up the locating stud with the appropriate hole? The spacesaver will only fit 'one' way.

mbs
IIRC you have to put the space saver on the rear
Goldcrest Four
Mine fits front and rear if located properly
Bazza1
My car has Bembro brakes, it looks as though the wheel will not cover the brakes, all the studs line up, are there 2 diffrent spacesavers?
Goldcrest Four
The threaded studs will align in 5 rotational positions but the wheel will only only fit in one position; that on whch the unthreaded stud slides int the appropriate (additional) hole in the wheel. Unless you have a non-standard (incorrect) spacesaver of course.
Ekona
IIRC you have to put the space saver on the rear Complete opposite, space saver always goes on the non-driven wheels. On the front if your car is RWD, on the rear if FWD.

On the front if your car is RWD, on the rear if FWD. Didn't know that, so basically if you get a rear wheel puncture you're stuffed? I suppose you could remove a front wheel and put it on the back but surely the LSD would have a nervous breakdown running different rolling diameters on the same axle. I hadn't thought about this before but staggered wheels are a bit of a nightmare if you get a puncture Pete
