mugwump
It's not even Halloween yet and I have haunted seats. No, not heated seats, haunted seats. Every time I get in the car the seat has moved close to the steering wheel, just by about a centimetre or so, if I dont drive the car for a few days it can be quite noticeable. I just seem to be forever putting the seat back, not whilst driving, just when I get in. Before anyone asks, nobody else drives the car and I am the only person with access to the keys. Any ideas? Is this a known issue? Is there a TSB? Its not like its a big issue or anything, its not even annoying (yet!) its just a curiosity. Still under warranty, but what am I going to say to the dealer? No way Im going to leave it with them to let them "watch" the seat for two days whilst they try and figure it out. Think I might stick some kind of graduated tape on the seat rail so I can monitor it accurately when I get out of and back into the car to make sure I am not inadvertently hitting the button or something daft like that. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

AndyC
Mine sometimes goes back, now & again I have to adjust it when I get in. tbh I can live with that
mugwump
I did consider the pies option, but my measurement benchmark is actually my arms, maybe they are growing out of proportion and I am becoming a knuckle dragger???? Agreed Andy, I can live with it, just dont want to be driving down the street one day and find the car tries to kill me by crushing me into the wheel
