Simon+Kat
I'm travelling t'north in a couple of days to visit Kats rellies in Middlesborough and thought id check out this Z in Sunderland, now that our insurance check has come through at last. Seems pretty cheap. Has any one had any dealings with Evans Halshaw in Sunderland? are they good guys? http://www.evanshalshaw.com/vehiclesear ... 04lae.html

Simon+Kat
Check tis out mate - viewtopic.php?f=9&t=44717 Hmmmmmmmmmm, well thanks for the thread tip, i 'll have a look, insist on a drive and if all looks good might get an AA check done. They sound like a-holes there but if i were to buy it i would probably never see them again as i live on the south coast. Cheers mate, i'll keep you updated. Waitey
That car was sold before Christmas. The advert is a mistake.
Simon+Kat
Woah! really? I've seen the ad in several different place as well. I'll ring them to confirm that then. Thanks for the heads up Waitey
Waitey
Its still on their advertising system as the new owner hasn't collected it yet. Good luck trying to get hold of someone on the phone. That dealership is awful!
GMC
That car was sold before Christmas. The advert is a mistake. The car wasn't sold before Xmas. I nearly bought it on Saturday just gone. It's been on the forecourt for at least nine months. Each time I've been to look at it they've told me to be quick making my mind up as people are looking at it all the time. They are just a bunch of liars. If they were a bit better at human interaction they would stand a better chance of selling it. Terrible, terrible garage. Simon+Kat
Well we popped in on our way to newcastle just to see, and yes it was deffo sold, solves my dilemma! Maybe it was for the best, it felt wrong anyway. A member on here had one I need to look at though, looked nice and clean.
Lexx
*shudders at memories of Evans Halshaw* My advice would be to buy private - prefably from a member here. At least then you can have a look at the cars history, and know hows its been looked after (and if the owner is a knob!)
Michael robinson
I was going to ask how you's got on but I don't think I need to now haha , to tell you the truth it's is probably a good job you's mist that one as cosmetically it was abit rough as gmc can confirm when we went to see it . And av already ranted that much about the garage that I don't think I need to do it again , there sh@t enough said haha
bounty78
All Evans Halshaws are sh**te bunch of crooks ...you will be glad that you walked away from that one
rancer
I drove my dad down to this place on Monday.. he just had his Qashqai serviced there. P3 service plus front brake pads changed... £543 and some pennies. It's not my money, but I was nearly sick when he told me the cost.
