breay
Hi guys i'm back! Long story short, when i had my Veilside Zed about 18 months ago i had a few custom parts made for the engine bay, one of which was a laser cut aluminium slam panel which i designed using my car a template. When considering improvements to the cooling performance of your Zed, one of the primary factors is to take into account aerodynamics. Although Zed's do have large mouth's in the front bumper for airflow due to the large opening of the upper area behind the top section of the bumper above the radiator the air tends to escape and does not have the desired cooling effect on the radiator. A slam panel (or air guide panel) closes off the open area behind the top section ensuring the incoming air is guided to the radiator more effectively. At the same time they look very cool and are a simple way to make the engine bay look modified without costing a fortune. I have six slam panels available which last week i had sprayed in 'Stealth' matt grey so no corrosion or polishing issues to deal with. These panels cost between £100 - £160 depending on the manufacturer, and i am offering mine for £45 + postage which i think is a bargain! If you would like one or have any questions please email me at: ben.reay@dutton-forshaw.com Thanks for looking!
