andlid
Hi guys need some advice on what clutch flywheel combo kit to go for. My whp goals and torq would be 500/500. Want it driveable in town and not going to do 1/4miles... (will do the random trackday here and there...)

Neilp
Yeah man, there's not many variations of car running that much power over here. Americas much more advance in terms of producing massive power from the vq35's
BulletMagnet
Carbonetic make a full carbon clutch, but may be OTT for street driving, lol

ThomasSoerensen
Can't you do without flywheel at all. It might be a bit bitchy around town, but would feel well racy.
BulletMagnet
Might aswell go for straight cut gears too then

It might be a bit bitchy around town, but would feel well racy. think it'll be grand around town depending on what combo I go for I guess. What I 'read' is that the 1100kg carbo twin one is pretty oe feel... would like to get personal views though. Not sure re fly clatter and chatter though like it's broken
ZMANALEX
There is no chatter with the ATS 1100kg CT. However, they do require proper bedding in and warming up.

andlid
what would that be like driving on the road mate? What power does it take? Cant find any spec more then "higher torq and hp" ...
NIcad7
Couldn't say, but will be a good chunk over standard which is about 400hp on a standard clutch. I've driven on these clutches before they're very well behaved, the bite is just a little sharper but the pedal isn't noticeably stiffer. Edit:- Just found this, they can handle up to 342ft/lbs WTQ. Compared to standard 224ft/lbs at the wheels.
