ABP This is potentially great news for the UK 350Z market - good tuners are few and far between and there have been one or two horror stories just recently. Do you have any specific plans for the Z e.g. rebuilds, tie-up with for example a FI kit manufacturer etc or is it a case of testing the water first? abpmotorsport
Have got nothing in the pipeline at the moment regarding forced induction, however Chris (director) is going over to the SEMA show in Las Vegas and also visiting a few companies over there, so we'll see what he comes back with Phil. Space Cadet
Hope the standards of professionalism have changed in the last 5 or 6 years, ABP completely ruined the engine in a Saxo VTS of mine, valves hit pistons, mapping was all over the place etc, the car/I was palmed off on a local 'motorsport' engineering company to try and sort things out. Needless to say they didn’t and I ended up with an un-drivable piece of junk and lost many 000's. Give my regards to Chris - he'll remember who I am. Space Cadet
Not really interested in communicating ‘personally’ with you. The comments were directed at fellow site users to advise them of my experience at ABP, this is the nature of the site recommending products and garages etc with comments, either good or bad. I was and still am at the thought, furious at the way I and the car were dealt with, I was 5/6 years younger and perhaps more naïve, if it happened now the matter would have been dealt with very differently. You have lost my continued trade over the last 5 years, I could have brought my previous cars and now the Z to you, but I would obviously never do this and have/would recommend other consumers to stay away from your garage. It’s obviously only my opinion in the end.
