I do agree with everything you've said, but look at the scuderia 430 where the engine came from. I'd rather have a rear end that looks like that.

Exactly: Ferrari put big exhausts on for show. You don't need big exhausts, it's just that's what customers want.

That rear end looks good but over all its an ugly so & so. Without the history of the Stratos would they have made it, I don't think so.

 

i think thats the whole point

 

its a shame its not an everymans type of car. maybe a smaller turbo engine that every tom dick and harry could afford.

Does anyone here actually know the real story of why this was produced? It's stunning, a rich man's dream and fair play to him he did well. If I had £500k knocking about I'd commission Ferrari to make me a new Stratos out of an F430! It is so much more original than going out and buying some horrible Bentley. As far as remakes go it's very very good. Most make a horrible mess of past models.

I think it look great as an update from the original B) , if I had £500K.... sorry let me rephrase that.. If I had £500k as pocket change so to speak then I would get one..... if they let me have one :lol::lol:
