The rain managed to stop before we started, but thankfully the thaw hadn't taken hold too much, otherwise we would have been up to our knees in bog! Still lots of thick ice about though, and I ended up on my arse a couple of times The Tarn itself was still frozen solid Stream crossing; steady! Bit icy still then...
