SparksCW
My air bag warning light randomly started flashing today. It was fine until I gunned it from the lights, not sure how that would affect it???? I Have recently fitted a JWT pop charger and havent reset ecu but again dont see how that would affect it. I take it it needs to go to a dealer/garage now then?
bounty78
Mine came on the other day as well when it was -8 degrees Some people say the airbag light comes on if you have moved your seat bcos of the wiring underneath the seat. I haven;t done anything to mine..it just came on one morning Try this..it worked for me..seems to have sorted out the problem

SparksCW
Mine got set off by something sliding under the seat. Did the reset not been a problem since. Hmmm I did have a box on the seat and some stuff behind the seat which did move when it happened. I guess it was that, I'll do the reset and see what happens

ChrisS
It's worth getting you hands under the seat and making sure the connections are good. Mine are now tie wrapped.
R35LEE
We see this loads. It is nearly always a bottle of water or coke rolling around under the seat. Tie wrap on the srs loom inder the seat helps as it stops the wire from jerking out when a bottle hits it
M13KYF
or possible break in the loom in the rear of the seat. Simple bit of soldering the damaged wire will fix it. I had this problem
Nolan
I had this problem too, i posted the same question in another thread and was told about the reset precedure, did it a couple of hours ago, worked a treat. Will see how it goes tomorrow.
cmck13
I just did the reset as per the u-tube video on here and it works, I wasn't holding out that this would happen being Mr Cynical and I thought here we go its a trip to the dealer. Absolutely great something that does what it says.
HassanZ
If the light comes back on, that means the air bag wire under the passenger seat has been moved out of place. Get some zip ties and tie the wires down to ensure they're secure.

bronzee
Maybe also check the cabling under the seats too, just in case something is starting to work loose.
