maz0
I used to take my pulsar to a place in Wishaw called 'The Garage'. They primarily specialise in jap cars and the owner Mark is a nice guy. http://www.the-garage.co.uk/ They do a lot of high spec skylines and stuff so the 350z would be right at home. Vik54
Plenty of garages you could use for the work you have listed there - and as you're in Glasgow you also have the option of going to zmanalex for your parts direct However there are no 'Tuners' in Scotland that can reliably and effectively 'tune' the zed - if you're talking about mapping you'll need to go down south for that
P15UL T
Mark at the garage fitted my nitrous and uprated clutch and flywheel, decent guy theres a place called Extreme that my mate uses for his Evo but not heard anyone takin there zed to them yet Paul
shadowq
thanks people, ive made a note about THE GARAGE. in wishaw will speak to em, to see what they can do. and yes i do need mapping done. as i believe, on the stock uk spec zed, not getting full 100% on the 1st 2nd and 3rd gears? right?? plus anyone able to tell me, what gains in bhp could be gained with mapping, and better induction? or what needs doing, witout making too much engine mods? and anyone have there zed lowered? whats the best springs, suspension i need to get so i can have it lowered but without losing ride comfort, pot holes in glasgow right now are a major issue. Go and have a wee read around the forum - entirely depends what you want to achieve Mapping the zed isn't really about gaining ponies more about performance and smoother low-mid range torque. Most people go for exhaust, uprated panel filter and plenum spacer prior to mapping and anyone have there zed lowered? whats the best springs, suspension i need to get so i can have it lowered but without losing ride comfort, pot holes in glasgow right now are a major issue. you can't lower and not expect to lose some ride comfort - again depends what you want to achieve - is it about looks or handling? Neilp
I live 5 minutes from the garage and they come highly recommended. As for remapping, there's only 2 places that can do it; rs tuning in Leeds and abbey motorsport in Surrey. They can provide 100% open throttle body and smooth out the torque. The best thing for a little drop more power is a plenum spacer and a 2006 facelift airbox. The 350z doesn't like induction kits etc. As for lowering springs. I used to use eibach lowering springs which are very popular but the car will sit low enough to provide some problems getting over speed bumps, especially the square middle of road style. The ride was very comfortable but firm. Also don't expect to be able to use multi-story carparks.
The G Man
Can't add anything to this other than even on stock suspension, my 370 has a problem with the multi story carpark in Hamilton, the one across from Marks. Suffice to say, this is not going to stop a lowering spring or four being fitted as it looks a bit tractorish at the mo.
