Lexx
Thanks for all the kind words guys. Yeah, im just glad no-one else was involved and hurt, and that there was no-one on the pavement as we went sideways along it for 15 meters. Car is getting picked up by VX tomorrow, and is in the hands of the insurance company. I suspect they will write it off, due to the cost of parts from Oz. Gutted and aching. Shuck
Lexx.......Nooooooooooooooooo! On the plus side, as everyone else have said, I'm glad you are ok and that no one was on the pavement you a 'boardslide' on. I saw Coopes and lee out in Boro over xmas and they told me about this. I've only just got around to coming online now. Hope you get a favourable result from the insurance company. Fingers crossed for you. Lexx
Well, I got the work yesterday from the insurance that she is being repaired. No-where near as much damage as suspected. Total is around £5k, and that includes the £1500 for a new alloy.

sparky370z
I would just make sure all of the work gets done to a high standard. Bit different i know but my clio was bodged by the garage. I had a mate look at it and he said the work was shocking. And to take it back. The sub frame had been reshaped and not replaced like they said they would do. Just filled and sprayed the front bumper. Really pi**ed me off as i had paid the exess of 500 quid.
