jub
Has anyone here either resprayed or wrapped their door handles at all? If not, has anybody taken their door handles apart?

Gentle
So you just spray them with spraypaint? No laquer etc? What do you do to prep them (if anything?) Ben.
buster
required a light sanding for key. Then sprayed and finish with clear coat m8
Gentle
Cool, I might give that a go myself. Gonna do mine black with the dots in red. Might have to wait and get anoter set of handles first just in case lol.
rtbiscuit
painting in black was easy, only advice would be to get something to wedge the handle in the open posistion for srapying so that you can get an even coat everywear. if your just painting i would suggest a good clear coat to protect the paint. and mask up everything well. i did wrap thm as well; and while i had themthey did well, but it seems that longevity was not their strong point as when abbey had them they unfortunatly started to lift in places. i'm putting it down to the person who wrapped them as they also did my wing mirrors and they didn't do well either and i ended up peeling them off. i am working on something new for door handles and will reveal all at some point but for now you lot will have to do with spraying them

MattG
Another vote for gloss black. Had them done a year ago and they still look as good as the day they were done.
