clarkie34
Just got in from work and how I have not stuck the car into a kerb is beyond me.Black ice everywhere on my way home, took a turning at traffic lights and car carried straight on just missing the kerb. Gritters not been out, thought the snow was bad but at least you can see the stuff. Be careful out there.
R35LEE
Agreed, it's nearly always the ice that catches people out not the snow

HaydnH
Didn't your trip computer tell you it was icy?? Mine was telling me my garage was icy the other day when I turned the car on for a little while to charge up the battery!
clarkie34
All that tells you is the temp not the conditions of the road.Apparently it rained then froze through the night.Over 40 cars crashed on the east lancs road this morn.
