buster
Spending so much time at home after a major op i get so bored.(been of work since may)So always looking for something for the zed i found a badge that i really liked. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43637 well heres the finish items fitted even redone the side badges pretty easy to do...... parts require old side badges x2 old badges x 2 drimmel doudle sided tape hair drier/heat gun scalpel file carbon fibre look sheet filler first off using the drimmel remove the centre bar of the o/e badge.Once removed file the edges to match the angle of the inner ring of the badge.Add filler and refile to get the shape. Once this is done the fun starts.Cut enough vinyle carbon fibre to cover the badge with spare.Heat and mould round the badge.Cut the remaining tape until happy and badge ring is completely covered. Next (optional) cover the side badge centre in the same way using the heat gun to help mould it.Then just trim the areas you want to expose. Now using the double sided tape apply to the rear of both bages. Remove the tape backing from the side badge and insert into the inner ring of the o/e modded badge. final stage remove backing from the o/e modded badge and refit to your zed. Now sit back and congratulate yourself on saving all that money on buying em.
