srobrien
Hi all, just a wee question. Me and the missus are looking into buying our first house together. I have a flat which is being sold at the moment, proceeds of which will be going towards the deposit, The OH has never bought a propery. If we are applying for a joint application are we eligable for first time buyer dealers? Probably not but worth asking. If not can anyone recommend anyone in scotland with decent rates at the moment? Sarnie
cheers Stew and Hugh Ross, unfortunately you are classed as a Next Time Buyer. It's no big deal really as the products are very similar anyway. I recently did Jamie Moy's mortgage which was in Dundee so Scotland is no problem The only difference comes with the legal work that needs to be carried out, but I found a fantastic firm in Glasgow to carry out the conveyencing. Drop me a PM and I can help you if you need it sorting for you. Liam
