djrm
Do you reckon it is do-able on something like the product below? http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... 11279.html I know some people have done it to dials / gauges in 350's in the past, just wandered whether it would be possible to change the blue dials / ring around the vol knob to orange? Any ideas? Ryan
Ricey
Sounds like one for our resident hound to answer....... I would think it'd be quite tricky and at that price I'd be tempted to just hunt round and find one in the right colour rather than splitting open a cheap unit

Ricey
Christ don't take action on my advice when it comes to electricals! Wait for Husky to give you his tuppenceworth......it might be easy........it just strikes me as potentially fiddly and disasterous. Its a bit like repairing a PS3 controllor.....seems like a good idea at the time but we all know its ending up in the bin in a million pieces. Husky
to brand new unit, taking a risk there but would be possible, no doubt the LED's will be very small surface mount ones. Open it up check what LED's you need Purchase correct LED's desolder old LED's solder in new ones put back together. totally depends on how the guts of it are put together to how difficult it would be. Thanks mate Why not just look for one that is the right colour to start with.... are you looking for one that matches the OEM dials etc? Is it just a single din you want or a double? This one has over 100 colour combinations and is just over £200 depends on what you want and your budget I guess...
