Single DIN DVD Player with no screen...

Hi guys!

I am after a replacement HU for my 350, get rid of the useless Bose..

I already have a system from Nurrish and would like to use the reverse cam input as an input from a Single DIN DVD player..

Can this be done? Use the Nurrish system as the screen for the DVD?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Ryan

Hello there!!!

I added a cam to the back of the car.

Can't you add a component cable to the aux input of the car computer? I don't know if nurrish systems have this. But yes a cam input would do I suppose. Not sure how u would get the audio tho.

At some point I'm gonna add a 3.5 audio/video lead into the cubby. So I can run my media player. My HU has an aux in.

That sounds perfect, as for the audio, the speakers will be directly connected to the HU where the DVD will be playing from so that's where the sound comes from.

The picture will just come from the video output on the HU and into the input on the satnav so all should be well!

Thanks for the info guys, just emailed caraudiosecurity to see if they can get the one I showed you on eBay or similar as well as the adapter to make the Bose speakers work properly and the steering controls.

Thanks again!

Also as you already have bose, you would be better hooking the H/U to the bose amp which powers the speakers.

Bose amp will probably be louder as it will have more power and as the bose speakers run at stupid impedance e.g. 3ohm(wth!) your best off sticking with the amp.

Also the bose might be high passing and low passing some of the speakers so connecting to the H/u straight might cause problems.

I have a jvc avx-1 for sale?

Does that one power the Bose speakers ok?

Does it have a video out??

It could power the Bose speakers but I have a special wire with it (PAC roem nis-2) that keeps the Bose amp working. It does have a video in and out I'm sure but you would be better off checking.

Is there any reason you don't want to use the Bose amp?
