slimjim
OK Folks. I have done the penny trick, taken out the boot weight.... even added felt padded spacers. Nothing works. My boot still slams own on my head! And due to pressure physics beyond my understanding, the colder it gets, obviously the worse it gets. SO, I need new boot/tailgate struts. I think these are the ones people recommend: http://www.sgs-engineering.com/pages/st ... range/350Z Is it £25 for both? Can anyone recommend any others, better ones? Not fussed about Carbon fiber or anything... FRONTS.... I also can't believe such a nice motor doesn't come with bonnet struts! Seen a few advertised on eBay, but from looking at the images it looks like the bonnet doesn't open very far with them. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0706065376 Anyone have any experience or recommend any good kits for the front? Again, I'm not fussed about Carbon fiber... So, any suggestions, front or rear please peeps? along with any experiences you guys have had? Cheers! (P.S. Spoke to the diamond geezer ZMANALEX and he doesn't keep anything in stock. I also looked on the RedChilli website, can't find anything.) Tarmac@TarmacSportz
SGS are an engineering company in Derby, the £25 is to re gas your current struts not replace. If you contact them I'm sure you can post your struts and they will re has and post back. As for the bonnet dampers, I'm not sure if they vary in height, I thought they were pretty much universal. slimjim
Cheers Tarmac.... "RTFM" ... I will give them a call and see what the deal is... Cheers! Yeah, if you look on the images on eBay, the bonnets don't look very "open"... Anyone bought one of these kits?
