bryno
I am in the market for Track day and "Hobby" car and the 350Z is on the shopping list. I have a budget of Max £20k. That looks like it would limit me to an import? What should I look for in an Import and has anyone any experience of a compnay called "Coventus" who seem to have a lot of imports on Auto Trader, anyone recommend an importer? Or anyone recommend a specialist. What shoud I be looking fopr on these cars? I would prefer an unmoded car at this stage? Idealy I would like a convertible. lomoto
Hi with that sort of budget your well into UK cars with good spec and low mileage
M13KYF
Yeah looks like you've got plenty to spend. A JDM model would be cheaper leaving you plenty of cash for mods. by the way
adam.mt
Just bought mine privately, and for that money your def get a UK vehicle. There were two 54 reg standard UK models on AutoTrader last week: Black £16250 and Gunmetal £16500. Reasonable mileage. Two 04 reg, GT models, 45k mileage - Black (Somerset), Gunmetal/Silver? (Torque) £18000 There's also a black 05 GT (rays, parking sensors) just gone back on ebay for £21,000. It's in Scotland. I was seriously considering it but got a Gunmetal one nearer to me (bit less, slightly older). BTW, he'll accept offers since it's been advertised for a while. adam.mt
Whoops, sorry these are coupes (unmodded) not roadsters. I'm pretty sure there's a good value blue roadster on AutoTrader though, 22ish from memory (UK). May be over your budget? If you keep a close lookout you may find one for 20k, UK model; but I think as your thought for a roadster and max 20k budget you'll have to go import. I know Coventus, they have two trading names selling the exact same cars and they are quite expensive for imports. I don't know their reputation though so can't comment on the standard of their cars or their service but having two trading names seems a bit strange to me. Your well into UK cars at that budget. I currently have an 04 plate with 14k miles in Azure with GT pack for £19,995. bryno
Thanks for all the info guys, we have now decided it will have to be a roadster so we are upping the budget slightly and then I'm going to do some cheeky bidding on some dealer demos which seem to have been around for some time like 1 year plus, mainly I think because they don't have the GT pack. Thanks again for the comments.
M13KYF
also cos the 06 model came out this year. This would make them harder to shift
