Zedman
I don't think the bonnet is quite as bad as you are all making out. However, I bet it is more prone to stonechips though!!!
Rob_Quads
Hopefully they have learnt some more about how to paint cars. Its the poor paint thats the main cause of thew stone chips

Trev-the-Rev
I've had my Z about 3 months now and have covered nearly 3,000 miles. I have already picked-up quite a few stone chips on the front bumper, so I guess the problem hasn't been cured.
Zedman
It's the water-based paints that they now use. My wife has a new Civic and I was cleaning it yesterday and was horrified to see the amount of stone-chips. Don't think it is a Nissan problem. 16BT
I think the bonnet looks awful. I just hope my Z roadster due in December does not have it. I am a bit worried now! Presumably it is due to this pedestrian legislation. The new TT bonnet looks too bulbous for the same reason. Why can't pedestrians wear rubber suits so that they bounce off our lower profile bonnets?!
Sarnie
That bonnet is mingin

Removed
funnily enough, I was sifting through the couple of Z books I have today, and saw some early sketches of the 350Z.... guess what? that bonnet was already thought of! really we need to consider ourselves lucky they didn't include it from the beginning
CDR_UK
I hope it will look better in the metal, that colour is not the best for showing off the lines. It reminds me a bit of the M3 bonnet bulge. The lack of rear spoiler doesn't do any favours either. I reckon with the right bodykit, and right colour though, that bonnet may be ok
Dash
I too reckon with a GT3 in my Garage a GTR for daily driver, the bonnet will look ok
ir_fuel
Very funny, when about 1 month ago people were saying that engine was never going to make it into a 350Z but was for other models in the US market
