B18NJY
Hi there, i am relatively new to this forum and owning a z car. Now i am looking at buying a new headunit to upgrade from my bose system. I have looked at the stick to see what parts i need but going off the sextons website i have now become a little confused. Basically i want to know if the items below are correct and if i am missing anything. I have a 04 plate 350z and it has the bose system. double din adaptor: http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/autolead ... html?cat=0 head unit: http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/head_uni ... ml?cat=718 Loom / steering wheel adaptor: http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/ict/p~29-674.html?cat=0 Now what confusses me is the USC. Going off the website it says its the bose loom and the steering wheel interface so is that correct. Do i need anything else like an aireal adaptor? I cant find the cable that will go from the steering wheel adaptor to the pioneer head unit either, so could someone point me in the right direction. Also does anyone have any reviews on that head unit. Thanks For your time. Ben
chippy
You also need another lead. I'd definately recommened giving Sextons a call to check which one you need. I bought the pioneer cable for a 4100DVD and it didn't work and later found out that there was a newer cable. I didn't need an aerial adaptor either. RisingPower
Only got the 3100 but I'm presuming a similar idea. See rob's faq: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403 For mine I got the pre-06 double din fascia, the ict 20-260 and that was it, but then again I wasn't bothered about steering controls
un1eash
It should be the ICT 29-020 patch lead but no harm in giving sextons a ring and asking, there pretty helpful.
