ENZed
hi guys, I know this has been posted before, and I have also read through a link posted by another member on another thread which is the same as the instruction manual that came with my new item. I'm basically struggling BIG time trying to get my oem gear knob off! It just won't budge, and I'm scared if I use anymore force, I'm going to break something! This is really frustrating, can anyone help?!

Bradders
Don't force it! You can do some serious damage. Someone less of an idiot with a spanner, Me that is, will be along soon Bradders

Ekona
Remove the plastic surround (just pull the bit nearest the handbrake, it'll come up), lock a set of mole grips round the shaft, and then pop a towel round the gear knob and get a big set of grips on it, the twist like buggery! You won't damage anything that way, promise.
