ATTAK Z
This car came up on Cherterfield's thread http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2040468.htm I'm seriously considering buying this car ......... I would be happy to receive comments good or bad from the guys and gals that know this car in particular and/or GTRs in general
Maccaman
By comments do you mean "I want, I want" One thing to consider is the so called "horrific" servicing costs.

James B
Just consider the running costs. May be bull @*!# but I heard that they are ludicrous with new tyres costing mega money and only lasting 7k miles. Mate looked into buying one until he realised it would be cheaper to runa Ferarri. Be warned!
DoogyRev
Stunning If I had 50K loitering about then I would seriously struggle not to buy this car.....but I have read a few horror stories about the price of servicing etc.... and if something like this happens..... http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/127250-accident-dont-do-what-i-did.html If you have a little extra ££ tucked away then I say why not

Ebized
You only live once and if you are drooling and are prepared for some hefty running costs then go for it - and do it before someone else who is a bit sharper off the mark Tubi exhaust sounds
James B
Found this thread that supports what I mentioned. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/136776-new-t ... miles.html Cos they are special run flats.

Millzzz
Wow, beautiful. I felt very lucky when I had a blast in one of these. All I can say is, if you can afford it (even if you have to sell a kidney to do so) BUY IT . . . . Then let me have a go

JetSet
Found this thread that supports what I mentioned. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/136776-new-t ... miles.html Cos they are special run flats. Not only that but they have to be filled with Nitrogen . Apparently, insurance is invalidated if you run standard ie non run flats and a set of tyres is around £1,500. Just running through some of the figures on the GTR forums I'm guessing you're looking at 3-5x the running cost of a 350/370, everything seems to cost a mind boggling fortune. If I'm reading this properly, you need a service every 6k at £680 and Disks and brakes every 12k at a mouth watering £1,700. The big service has to be done at 24k. On the plus side, insurance is not that much higher than a 350/370. Pete
Dblock
Tbh if your looking at a car like that then you shouldn't worry about petrol or servicing. I know for it's price it seems kinda cheap but it's s Supercar. It's stupid fast and yes that comes with a preimium as. It's still pretty new so once warranties run out and specialists know their way round them, after Market parts get sold on the cheap and so on then it will get cheaper. Pete Most tyre places now offer nitrogen, I have mine filled with the stuff... something to do with bigger molecules so less escapes and they are not affected by temperature when compared to air. I paid £2 per wheel
ATTAK Z
I've just been looking at other GTRs for sale . ............... I still want that one ....... it's the colour and the red leather that do it for me and I think I deserve a little pressie to myself after getting the new job

Be warned! Depends on what Ferrari, but in my experience if you compare say up to 10K miles per year in a GTR serviced at main dealer, no its not cheaper to run a Ferrari in the same manner. Heres some info from GTROC on the expected servicing costs. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/143601-offic ... hours.html and a section containing actual owners servicing experiences: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/nissan-gt-r-maintenance.html
