RisingPower
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2122977.htm NO DOUBT I hope the manual is better than their awful semi-auto box. Still think it's dull though, besides doesn't he have a 430?
RisingPower
No need for the 5.0 V8 though, so it would be lower model IS if it were that. Noooo, does this mean you wouldn't sway for the 5.2 V10 out of the gallardo in the S8? It's a big comfortable 4 door/seater with plenty of toys iirc. Chesterfield
Im not that bothered about big power in the "every day" car. Plus its going to be used for taking to the airports on hols etc, so Im not too fussed about stopping every 200 yards to fill up. I was just interested in what other people would buy and whether there wereany cars on the market that people hadnt thought about, Im not wanting a "what chris should swap the jag for" thread, but its interesting to see the options out there - some of which Ill admit I hadn't even thought about, or had forgotten about. DoogyRev
Having read and followed this post, and had the money and criteria to follow I would go for something like the following.. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2137128.htm If you want something that seats four adults then get a four door Other than this then I can only suggest... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2071152.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1696834.htm

Does taking to the airport involve... transporting? If so, audi a8 W12 wins it then But I guess this is fairly unlikely to happen on hols/to the airport. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMIWSdnjfyU

djrm
Actually, one of them can't do that all to well, hence the requirement for ease of access to the back seats. I do apologise... In that case................. This would be the one!! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2001327.htm - with plenty of ££ to spare!

Chesterfield
I quite like those curvy mercs
Wasso
They are very elegant.... The only problem being you need to be over 50 to drive one.... where the AMG is young hearted, the two don't blend very well. Although the sound is beautiful.... Wasso
I admit, they aren't my cup of tea - unless it's the AMG - like I say you need to be a little "old folk" to really like the car. I'm too young for luxury cars just yet....
