Chan267
I have owned my 350z for a week now and love every minute I am in the car and it attracts so much attention aswell as getting tailed constantly but audis and bmws. Anyway fitted the led rear lights from the 06+ and what a difference it makes, took me 2 mins to change and everything fits in perfectly. Theres just one or two annoying little things that I want to sort out soon, 1) for the people who have replaced the dodgy bose headunit, what did you go for? I'm looking for a double din headunit and what else do I need? 2) Have you managed to connect to the controls on the steering wheel to the new headunit? 3) Has anyone solved the problem of the cd jumping while the car is cold? thanks

James B
To be honest I'd skip the fixes and replace the HU. Will cost you at least £400 but defo worth it!
Zugara
failing that, do the ipod hack and forget the CDs..... cost, circa £4.
lrh
3) Has anyone solved the problem of the cd jumping while the car is cold? It's a problem with all in-dash changers and why you don't see many on the after-market. Even the owners manual mentions it will happen! +1 on the "Tape deck hack" (aux line-in) http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=507429#p507429
Chan267
I have pm r35lee and will wait to what he has to say. I am considering in changing to a double din headunit that won't require me to have a cd changer as it will play mp3 or have a USB slot. Any other recommendations on what to go for? Thanks
