stanski
apart from the obvious piston heads, autotrader, ebay and on here where else would you recommend for searing for a 350z ? think we have this covered in a previous thread but for me its this forum first, Nissan, autotrader, whatcar - I personally hate Ebay and Pistonheads is a close second - if you bid on a car on Fleabay ensure you go and see it first - everything looks great in low res photos online
dyla350z
Pistonhead cars seem over priced, ive bought 4 out of my last 5 motors from ebay, got some bargains, you must view first & be prepaired to travel, hpi & get it inspected, autotrader is worth a look but not the books, search the auto trader web site but alls search national, even if your not prepaired to travel 300miles it gives you an overall picture of values, you do get some come back from dealers but the prices will be at least 25%more,bought a few at auctions but would not buy a zed there unless looking for a cat3/

ewan221
Travelling is no prob past few cars I have bought were hours away , but would be nice to find something reasonably close to home for a change :-) With inspections is there any recommendations who to do this or do the AA/RAC do a decent job ? Best bet is find a local forum member who knows there onions to be honest. RAC are supposed to be good but they are bleeding expensive (well subject to them not saving you several thousand buying a dog of a car in which case they are a bargin )
ewan221
Ok :-) When I bought the porsche every body said no point using RAC/AA same when I was looking for TVR, good to know that at least its an option in this case
