andyconf
Hi Have suffered for over a year with a JDM Bose 6 CD Unit with limited radio and damp causing CD's to skip endlessly till the unit it dry. Anyone have a recommendation on cost effective replacement. Car is a 2002 Fairlady. Can this be fixed or do I have to replace it all? I would like to use existing Bose speaker set up if poss and not really an audio buff, just want music. IPOD connection would be a bonus. Could fit myself if necessary, quite handy with hands! lrh
Cold weather skipping can't be fixed... It's a problem with all in-dash changers and mentioned in the owners manual! If you're handy with a soldering iron you can add an aux line-in: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=507429#p507429
