GreenMonkey
Hi, I have tried searching but couldn't find what i was looking for. I may have not typed in the right search criteria! My lovely husband bought me a gorgeous new stereo for my 350z and i cant wait to get it in. Its a double deep one so should just fit straight in but how do i get the old bugger out without taking out the whole dash board as i have seen on other sites? Surely there is a simpler way?!?!? Please help i want to play with my new shiny shiny toy
Zugara
You dont.... Hope he bought you the facia panel and loom to go from the bose to whatever you have been bought, else your shiny new toy might as well remain in the box

Zugara
Oh, BTW its a Double Dinn head unit, not a double deep one. .well i was assuming you were takling about the Stereo being double deep!...
un1eash
As mentioned already you'll need a fascia kit, harness adaptor and bose interface if you have bose. Also a steering wheel control patch lead if you have them. This cost around £60 plus then your looking at fitting. Where in the midlands are you? GreenMonkey
Burton on Trent! Old one is bose, new ones a JVC if that helps and its all pretty and shiney. I used to swap stereos all the time in my other cars but that was just a case of buying the keys, taking the old one out, then plugging the new one in! What has changed? Why is everything so complicated? or is it a sign that i am getting old
