Hitman
Hi, I've bought a nice set of spacers from MWTech and lovely they are. However, when I took them to the tyre shop down the road they couldn't fit the front as theres a metal nub between the studs on the front hubs. The back spacers went on without a problem but he can't get the front's on. You can just about make it out in the attached pic. Have you guys seen this before, and what do I do about it? TIA, Hitman
clarkie34
Remove the extra bolt,it's to stop putting the rear wheels on the front.
Hitman
Easily done if I take it back to the tyre shop?
Ebized
Yep, it might just as well be there for decoration Just put a spanner on it - its just a bolt with a spacer underneath
Hitman
Awesome, back I go tomorrow morning Thanks for the quick replies! It's cool how much difference the spacers have made on the rears, it's the little things like these and the stubby aeriel I bought from Chilly Red that make the car stand out (and a good clean doesn't hurt either ) Hitman
Zugara
Why are you paying someone to do such a simple job
Hitman
I thought it'd be quicker and easier if the local tyre place did it for me. I rarely have time to do stuff, if I had to do it they'd still be in their box in about a years time Hitman
