A lot has happened since the last update, engine arrived, old engine in, turbo kit on, all fitted, down to tuner. Tuning done last Friday! Numbers: 451WHP 500lbft Insurance and tax next on the list, among getting a new rad, new termostat and possibly getting aftermarket or upgrading oem actuators (wastegates) 29/12/2010: Car up on the lift to get the new suspension fitted 28/11/2010: Finally passed the NCT 11/11/2010: Got my diff back from MR Nissan Doctor! (thanks paul!) Stuck it in under the car, took 3 1/2 hours with jack stands and only myself balancing things but got there in the end! Drove her a bit around the block and first impressions of the new LSD are good! 03/11/2010 Finally arrived! 27/10/2010 Not much happening here finally got the diff shafts from an open diff! They should be on their way from the states, the weather is poor so only looking at the stuff I still have to fit, should buy a gazebo really... 11/10/2010 WOHO! bling got here to, this delivery guy was all excited to see what was in the package 11/10/2010 Got these delivered just now > (delivery guy no longer wants a signature...hmmm) 10/10/2010 Well go stuck in with the diff LSD project, started a bit to late really after finding a vice and bolting that down to the ground...after a lot of effort I got this far with it: (will give it another go and if it doesn't work I'll call it quits and drop it off to a garage) (can't get one of the 'cups' 'axes' off) 07/10/2010 SWEET,got these carbontech pads in the post yesterday... the size and weight of them! 1st class job, these are going in today!! (XP8) ^gram 06/10/2010 WOAAAW! Can't wait to install this baby, hopefully Friday will be the day it goes in < 05/10/2010 Wow, are these actually used? Forgot to pop them in the progress thread and actually had forgotten that I bought them. Just need to find a DIY install thread for these and then when my BC's arrive I'll be slamming the front 04/10/2010 FEDEX dropped these babies off, the funniest wrapping I've ever seen! Start of it all… Got my 350Z (fairlady 2003 JDM) at Thu, Apr 17, 2008 at 10:47 AM (I got the mail confirming I god the car) Here is what she looked when I got her: ( had the window down, problem with it staying up ïŒ ) Can still remember the smile when she turned over and started on first attempt and I drove off to fill her up, sweet. #1 Got it cleaned down and changed oil, filter, plugs, airfilter. #2 I got the burgers sorted #3 Got a Pure Plenum installed #4 I got a Haltech ECU and a tune #5 Got a nice set of GoodYear F1's and tracking sorted Love the thread pattern on these and proven pretty decent around track for a normal road tyre. #6 Replaced the antenna on the Altezza for the Z ïŠ #7 Got a set of EBC yellowstuff pads front #8 Got berk cats #9 Got a Kinetix SSV Velocity manifold #10 Got a true (almost) dual custom exhaust Later updated the end cans from ZEES to Magnaflows. (To be continued) #11 B&M Shortshifter #12 Oil catch can #13 Grill #14 Rear EBC’s #15 Retune Haltech MAP RON95 < Bulletproof! #16 Sent ECU off to Abbey for full WOT in low gears and derestricted #17 4 corners Brembo/Discs/Pads upgrade #18 Got a nice 350Z-uk forum plate #19 HEL lines all four corners #20 Motul 660 #21 GEARKNOB #22 Got some Wipex blades #23 RAYS! woho! Mid mount turbo all the way, plus if you did get one your car would be a show car in the sence that no one else has one. Out of interest how much does it cost for a midmount turbo? You have heard your exhaust - right? should have said the bearing noise... then again never seen anyone (heard) drive my car so don't really know how loud it is... reminds me to call the souhan.ie place today and speak to Darren regarding that After sitting in your car and feeling it around the corners gocart like (in a good way) I found if I'm going to continue to do some trackdays the car needs updating.
