After putting the inevitable off for a few weeks, I am officially putting the 350z up For Sale. With some sadness.

Make: Nissan

Model: 350z (UK)

Engine: 3.5 V6

Year: 2004 ('04 plate)

Colour: Chilli Red

Mileage: 45,315

M.O.T : October 1st 2011

Tax: 31st March 2011

I bought the car back in October 2008, it had Full Nissan Service history.

My intentions were to highly modify the car to compete in the UK’s top Show and Shine competitions.

After 2 years and many trophies won, I have decided to remove the modified parts (sell separately) and return the car to a near standard condition.

Some Background:

Whilst modifying the car, I pretty much got the car to concourse standard.

The car had a full respray in Feb 2009 in order for me to be able to compete in the competitions. Standard Nissan paint is far too soft and can swirl and mark easily. As it stands the paint work is in great condition.

And more recently the original front and rear bumpers have been painted and re-fitted (After the chargespeed bodykit was removed).

The Front bumper number plate holder has been removed and the holes smoothed to give a better look. The number plate has been relocated to the intake grille.

In Feb 2009 The underbody of the car was cleaned and then Schutz painted. Everything was masked off neatly so the underneath of the car looks as new. All aluminium Exhaust heatshields have been polished.

All 4 wheel arches have been scrubbed and cleaned. They are now free of wax and all the aluminium suspension components are also free from wax.

This makes them easier to clean, and they always look like new.

The front arch liners were replaced for brand new items.

The engine bay has been thoroughly cleaned and all wax and dirt has been removed.

In March 2009 Samco Coolant hoses and an uprated 50mm aluminium radiator were fitted, the coolant was replaced with – Fuchs Eskimo Antifreeze.

At the same time the Gearbox oil and Rear Differential oil were replaced with – Silkolene Silktrans Syn5 75W-90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil.

The brake fluid was also replaced (When I fitted the K-sport brakes) and has subsequently been replaced again in August 2010 when the original Brembo brakes were refitted.

The last x2 services I have had Silkolene Pro-S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Engine oil used.

So all in all, no money has been spared in keeping the car in tip top condition.

If your interested to know what the car looked like modified then look here http://www.project350z.co.uk

All MOT’s and tax discs are present. All services are stamped in the Warranty book. Unfortunately I do not have a receipt for the first 2 services (I will endeavour to try and find them)

M.O.T’s:

1st year – 34,774

2nd year – 41,004

3rd year – 43,250

4th year – 45,317

Service Records:

15/07/05 Reg Vardy (Nissan Main Dealer) – P1 Service – 10,347

09/06/06 Reg Vardy (Nissan Main Dealer) – P2 Service – 21,602

20/12/06 Reg Vardy (Nissan Main Dealer) – P1 Service – 27,290

08/02/08 Evan Halshaw (Nissan Main Dealer) - P3 Service – 36,459

26/03/09 Revolution (Specialist) – P1 Service – 41,159

17/03/10 Revolution (Specialist) – P2 Service – 43,396

As you can see the car has averaged 10,000miles for the first 4 years of it’s life and in my ownership I have covered just over 4,000 miles in the last 2 years, which have all been dry motorway miles to car shows.

The car is a NON GT UK model but still boast a good standard specification:

6 Speed gearbox

HID Headlights

Headlight Washers

Brembo Brakes – Front & Rear

Cloth Sports Seats

Climate control

PAS

Electric windows.

Electric Mirrors (folding)

Oil and volt gauges, trip computer.

Factory Alarm/immobilizer

In order to return the car to an excellent Pre Modified condition the following items were recently bought and are Brand New: Inovit alloys & tyres, Japspeed exhaust, FK lowering springs, Intake pipe & Kenwood Stereo. They have only covered 50 miles.

The car also boasts a formidable mods list:

Polished pipe with HKS ltd edition red filter

Asi-performance aluminium radiator

Japspeed K2 polished Exhaust

Samco Red Coolant and Ancillary hoses

Gloss Black plenum

Gloss Black Engine cover

Red Grounding kit.

FK lowering springs (30mm drop)

18†Black Inovit Sparkle Alloys

245/45/18 Rear

Kei Black wheel Nuts

Smoothed front bumper (Number plate holder removed)

Di-noc vent Covers

So of the bad bits (Not many):

There is some bolster wear to drivers seat (Pretty common with all cars I've seen)

Some of the interior platics are lightly scratched (Wear and Tear)

The graphics can be removed quite easily too.

I’m in no hurry to sell as I’m not looking to replace the car for 8-12mths.

The price I believe reflects the condition and modifications on the car, however I am open to sensible offers for a quicker sale.

Private plate not included, this will be removed shortly.

Price: £11,250

Price now reduced to £9,900 o.n.o
