Andy Posted September 25, 2010 Share Posted September 25, 2010 +1 i'd go for the JL or something like the audio Control LC6 or LC8 which takes the high level input from the speakers and turns it into an RCA signal which you can then use with an amp and sub or whatever you choose. Unless you will be amping your speakers then I don't think an after Market headunit will be as good. BMW have a very smooth sound which makes it feel like it's not loud but it sounds better than a tinny clipping headunit.
